I absolutely loved this short Christmas story. I'm not sure how Catherine does it, but I was once again entranced by the story, I couldn't put it down. I devoured it. Jade is off to her grandparents ski resort, remembering all the fun she's had whilst growing up there, giant Christmas tree full of gifts underneath, packed ski slopes, loads of family time. But when she arrives, she finds a tiny tree with a fake present pile, not how she remembers it... Dawson is on vacation from his pack, things have been getting crazy & he needs some time away, upon entering the ski lodge he can't not drink in the sight of Jade behind the reception desk.... I'm going to leave that there, I can't wait to read Catherine's next book, I'm ADDICTED!
