I started this book around 9pm last night, thinking to myself, I'll read for a little bit get the feel & finish tomorrow... How wrong was I, I started it sure, took a break to shower, got into bed & read.... until the very last word... It was 3am, I was tired, I was in a Don induced coma... I have a BOOK HANGOVER today! Thank you Elle & Aimie.

I'm only starting to like the whole mafia genre, this is the second series I've ever read. Having read what can happen in the other series, I wasn't as worried about the gore & violence when starting 'The Don: Sebastiano'... but damn some things were pretty instense, how does Elle & Aimie think these things up??? I FLOVE how these girls think when they work together.

Saying that I was pulled into the world of Sydney's mafia Don's life, Sebastiano is trying to make Sydney a safer place for all working girls, he HATES miss treatment of women, abuse in any form is frowned apon by The Don. After being miss treated & betrayaed by his ex-wife, Sebastiano hasn't been in a relationship since, they only females in his life is Nonna & his daughter Lorena. Now Lorena is rather superficial at the start, but I think her interaction with Sierra helps bring out her character more. Sierra, what can I say about this girl.... after stepping up to help out her baby brother (as any elder sibling would do, when they're in trouble) she makes a deal with The Don... Become his mistress, cater for his every need...

I love how Sebastiano, never treats Sierra badly, never forces her into anything unwanted, goes absolutely mental when something does happen to her & would tear the world apart to find her. The there was Lorena & her 'mama bear' type scene near the end, doing something obviosly shocking but wouldn't you do the same if it was your loved 1?? child??? I'm sorry but I would.

I can't wait to read what Aimie & Elle have in store for us in book 2... Good thing it's not too far away till release day.
