An AMAZING introduction to a new series....
I was gifted an ARC of 'Brightest Shadow' from Candice Gilmer, in exchange for an honest review.
I just finished 'Brightest Shadow' & I'm blown away, I was quickly drawn into the story & couldn't put it down, next thing I knew it was finshed. This book starts off with a sad start, an alpha to be, saddened & awaiting his alpha powers to come... This idea of not getting your alpha power right away is unique to me, I loved it, it made this story it's own.... A girl who has dreams, deja-vu type dreams, who stands on her own two-feet & works hard... What isn't there to like about that, then the paranormal happens & the action comes forth, you start to get an inkling as to what Candice's new series "The Mythical Knight's" is going to be like, I can't wait.
