I was gifted these stories individually from Kenzie Cox, in exchange for my honest review.
Introducing "The Davennes: Wolves of the Rising Sun Vol 2" inside are the last 4 installments from Kenzie Cox in her "Wolves of the Rising Sun" series & the "Mating Season" collection. Once I started reading this series, I quickly fell in love with the storyline & characters, devouring each installment so quickly, leaving me WANTING more as soon as possible. Please read the "Wolves of the Rising Sun" series in order. I've added my reviews for each book below....
Craved, book 4....
It feels like it's been FOREVER since I last devoured an installment of Kenzie's "Wolves of the Rising Sun"... but within the first chapter I was lost in the story. Then I had soon finished, leaving me NEEDING more.
Scarlett is going to the one person her mate told her would help, but when the meeting starts an old flame interrupts, someone she thought she'd never see again. Devon is just passing time & the attractive women at the bar is his latest distraction....
I will say, this time I felt like the book could have been longer, hang on they all could have, but Kenzie left this installment in such a way, that I have sooo many questions. My fingers are crossed they get answered in the uncoming installments.
Silas, book 5....
I quickly devoured this installment of Kenzie's "Wolves of the Rising Sun"... once again I was lost within the story. Next thing I knew I was finished, why did it have to finish???
Silas made a promise 6 years ago to always protect Hannah from the shifter lifestyle, although he's always wanted her, he keeps his promise... Hannah has always loved Silas, but over the last 6 years he's made it obvious he wont take the next step, Hannah decides to move on for good....
Oh my goodness, the tension between Silas & Hannah... I could feel it coming out of my ereader. Then the unthinkable happens & Silas isn't given a chance to keep his promises (so not going to ruin it for you), but damn it's good. The suspense Kenzie kept me in, WOW... I can't wait for the next installment.
Darien, book 6....
I devoured this installment of Kenzie's "Wolves of the Rising Sun", quickly losing myself in the words I was reading. And what words they were. Too quickly for my liking I was finished.
Darien has promised to protect Thea as she recovers from the trauma of being kidnapped, he's there for her, but his wolf is growing attached.... Thea doesn't want to leave Darien, but feels she's in the way, especially after her life has been turned upside down recently.....
The interractions between Darien & Thea were fun to read, whilst Darien's wolf starts feeling a bond, Thea & Darien can't seem to get the correct words out. That ending, just WOW. I can't wait to read what happens next.
Wren, book 7....
At first I didn't want to start reading 'Wren' I'm a little sad because I learnt that this is the final book in the "Wolves of the Rising Sun" series. But I just HAD to read it, & I devoured it quickly, instantly drawn into the story.
A chance meeting, a fiery night, left Wren's wolf feeling empty, but he's unable to search for the women who caused it, he has to find the people responsible for the kidnapping of women in his hometown. That is until he bumps into her again.... FBI agent Bella, has turned to the dragon's to help solve her most difficult case yet, leaving her meeting she bumps into the wolf who makes her feel whole....
EVERYTHING in this was put together so well, it made me feel like I too was helping Wren & Bella solve the case. Lets not forget the way these two interract with one another, WOW! I will say Kenzie has now left me wondering about a certain dragon & the clan keeping the city safe.
