A MUST read!!

Game Maker - BJ Harvey, Lauren McKellar

I enjoyed every second of 'Game Maker' BJ's 2nd book in her "Game" series, from the very first chapter it drew me in. Please read the "Game" series in order, also if you haven't read BJ's "Bliss" series you should probably start there.... In 'Game Maker' we get to read about Danika (Zander's baby sister) finally going after the man she's had a crush on since she was 14 years old, who's also Zander's best friend Zack. I loved reading about everyone else in the group & how their lives are going. I had moments where I laughed so hard, Danika & her BFF Abi are entertaining, there were some moments that shocked me. I DEVOURED 'Game Maker' I really HAD to know how things would turn out.

The Davennes brothers are here!!

The Davennes: Wolves of the Rising Sun (Volume 2) - Kenzie Cox

I was gifted these stories individually from Kenzie Cox, in exchange for my honest review.

Introducing "The Davennes: Wolves of the Rising Sun Vol 2" inside are the last 4 installments from Kenzie Cox in her "Wolves of the Rising Sun" series & the "Mating Season" collection. Once I started reading this series, I quickly fell in love with the storyline & characters, devouring each installment so quickly, leaving me WANTING more as soon as possible. Please read the "Wolves of the Rising Sun" series in order. I've added my reviews for each book below....

Craved, book 4....
It feels like it's been FOREVER since I last devoured an installment of Kenzie's "Wolves of the Rising Sun"... but within the first chapter I was lost in the story. Then I had soon finished, leaving me NEEDING more.
Scarlett is going to the one person her mate told her would help, but when the meeting starts an old flame interrupts, someone she thought she'd never see again. Devon is just passing time & the attractive women at the bar is his latest distraction....
I will say, this time I felt like the book could have been longer, hang on they all could have, but Kenzie left this installment in such a way, that I have sooo many questions. My fingers are crossed they get answered in the uncoming installments.

Silas, book 5....
I quickly devoured this installment of Kenzie's "Wolves of the Rising Sun"... once again I was lost within the story. Next thing I knew I was finished, why did it have to finish???
Silas made a promise 6 years ago to always protect Hannah from the shifter lifestyle, although he's always wanted her, he keeps his promise... Hannah has always loved Silas, but over the last 6 years he's made it obvious he wont take the next step, Hannah decides to move on for good....
Oh my goodness, the tension between Silas & Hannah... I could feel it coming out of my ereader. Then the unthinkable happens & Silas isn't given a chance to keep his promises (so not going to ruin it for you), but damn it's good. The suspense Kenzie kept me in, WOW... I can't wait for the next installment.

Darien, book 6....
I devoured this installment of Kenzie's "Wolves of the Rising Sun", quickly losing myself in the words I was reading. And what words they were. Too quickly for my liking I was finished.
Darien has promised to protect Thea as she recovers from the trauma of being kidnapped, he's there for her, but his wolf is growing attached.... Thea doesn't want to leave Darien, but feels she's in the way, especially after her life has been turned upside down recently.....
The interractions between Darien & Thea were fun to read, whilst Darien's wolf starts feeling a bond, Thea & Darien can't seem to get the correct words out. That ending, just WOW. I can't wait to read what happens next.

Wren, book 7....
At first I didn't want to start reading 'Wren' I'm a little sad because I learnt that this is the final book in the "Wolves of the Rising Sun" series. But I just HAD to read it, & I devoured it quickly, instantly drawn into the story.
A chance meeting, a fiery night, left Wren's wolf feeling empty, but he's unable to search for the women who caused it, he has to find the people responsible for the kidnapping of women in his hometown. That is until he bumps into her again.... FBI agent Bella, has turned to the dragon's to help solve her most difficult case yet, leaving her meeting she bumps into the wolf who makes her feel whole....
EVERYTHING in this was put together so well, it made me feel like I too was helping Wren & Bella solve the case. Lets not forget the way these two interract with one another, WOW! I will say Kenzie has now left me wondering about a certain dragon & the clan keeping the city safe.

The Riveauxs all in one place!!

The Riveauxs: Wolves of the Rising Sun Volume 1 (Mating Season) - Kenzie Cox
I was gifted these stories individually from Kenzie Cox, in exchange for my honest review.

Introducing "The Riveauxs: Wolves of the Rising Sun Vol 1" inside are the first 3 installments from Kenzie Cox in her "Wolves of the Rising Sun" series & the "Mating Season" collection. Once I started reading this series, I quickly fell in love with the storyline & characters, devouring each installment so quickly, leaving me WANTING more as soon as possible. Please read the "Wolves of the Rising Sun" series in order. I've added my reviews for each book below....

Jace, book 1....
I have just finished reading Jace's story, I was quickly drawn into the story & was surprised when I'd already finished it.
Skye finds comfort in the Bayou, especially around Jace, having just broken up with her boyfriend she wants to take pictures & relax. But when a storm breaks & Skye finds herself in a cabin with him....
I loved how things progressed between Jace & Skye, it made for an enjoyable short read.... why do these stories have to be so short??

Aiden, book 2....
I was quickly sucked back into the lives of the "Wolves of the Rising Sun" & then just as quickly I was spat out.... I didn't want this book to finish.
Rayna has always been a part of the Riveaux family, her best friend Luc is her all time crush's brother. Aiden is only now letting himself have what he wants, but she's his brothers best friend, but one night changes everything....
I'm absolutely loving these stories, I just wish they were longer, especially with all the action packed inside.

Luc, book 3....
I have been loving this series so far, and 'Luc' was no different than the first two. I was sucked into the story, lost within the words... action, love, mayhem that is the "Wolves of the Rising Sun". I didn't want this book to finish, but then I have said that to all I have read so far.
Luc know's Arianna isn't staying long, she'll be heading home in 2 weeks, so he's making the most of the time he gets to spend, but he's not sure if he can allow her to leave, especially when she knows the secret.... Arianna is enjoying her time with her best friend & Luc, but things happen that make her remember things & run...
I loved how you got a peak at the previous books couples, how they act together now that they're mated.

The Complete Collection of Cara's Fairy Tales

Fairy Tales with a Shift: Complete Collection (5 Bear Shifter Novellas) - Cara Wylde
I read each of the books within this Collection when they were first released. "Fairy Tales with a Shift" is the complete collection of all 5 novella's, each a retelling of a Fairy Tale with a spin on the original to include a bear shifter, each tale is complete.

Bearly Cursed, is a retelling of 'East of the Sun and West of the Moon' which was a Fairy Tale I'd not read before. Whilst hunting to help save her family during the harsh winter, Brenda finds herself agreeing to become the polar bears wife in exchange for keeping her family from starving during the winter months.

Aimée and the Bear, is a retelling of 'Beauty and the Beast' & whilst I loved the original, I found myself loving Cara's version too. Aimée finds herself thrown into a dark, dank dungeon after picking a red rose in an abandoned estates garden.

Bearly Hunted, is a retelling of 'Snow White' yet another much loved Fairy Tale, I also loved Cara's version. When Nieve is in the woods she notices she's being followed & not just by anyone, but a shifter & everyone knows shifters are assassin's for hire. So why does Nieve find herself in the assassins cottage??

Scarlett and the Bear, is a retelling of 'Red Riding Hood' I do adore the original, but I will say Cara's retelling had such an interesting background story to it. A werewolf has been terrorrizing her village for generations, Scarlett has just turned 18 & with the day of The Choosing coming up she hopes her name isn't called, but she has been practicing for this day all every day.

Bearly Sleeping, is a retelling of 'Sleeping Beauty' another much loved Fairy Tale, but I loved how Cara made it her own. Rose is the princess, about to meet her prince, but she longs for someone alot closer. When her birthday coming up, her ladies in waiting & best friends convince her to test out the curse she was gifted when she was born.

Each retelling was filled to the brim with information & adventure, keeping me intrigued & not able to stop reading until the end. Some left me wondering just where the bear shifter would come into the story, leaving me pleasantly surprised when I found out... whilst the others the bear shifter was there from the start.

Can Philli find the women to save them all??

Warrior (Twisted Sister Book 2) - Lacy LeRoch

I was given a copy of 'Warrior' from Lacy LeRoch, in exchange for an honest review.

After reading book 1 'The Watchers' I couldn't wait to read what happens next. 'Warrior' is book 2 in Lacy's "Twisted Sister" series, you definitely NEED to read this series in order, otherwise people & event just wont make sense. Once again the storyline flowed, the extra POV's helped mesh all the information that was needed. When a seer calls, Philli finds himself learning of an attack from the Buzzock, the unborn pheonix baby is in trouble & a women who will save them. He needs to find the women who will help them all before it's too late.

Oh my, I'll leave it at that, YOU definitely HAVE to read this yourself to find out what happens, I don't want to ruin the experience for you. I need to read the next book in the series.

An extra layer of ALPHA

Dirty Girl (Dirty Girl Duet) (Volume 1) - Meghan March

After reading Meghan's "Dirty Billionaire Trilogy" I was extremely excited when I found out Greer was going to get her own books. 'Dirty Girl' is the first book in Meghan's "Dirty Girl Duet", which means we only have 2 books to read but... DAMN what a start to Greer's story. Although you don't need to read the "Dirty Billionaire Trilogy", I would highly suggest that you do, even if it's just to understand her relationship with her brother & some other events in the Trilogy.

After finding her boyfriend in the act, Greer & her BFF get drunk & decide to post an add... remind you of someone?? yeah me too... But instead of getting the "Oh the rich man is going after the girl, yay for him" kind of respone that Creighton received, Greer is sneered at, called names. Oh I love Greer's response to that. Her drunken add was directed at the man who walked away... Cav walked away from Greer 3 years ago, for reasons only he knows, but when he finds out about the add, finishes up his latest job & flies directly to Greer's front door.

I seriously devoured this book, from the very begining I was glued to my ereader, I felt myself drawn into Greer's life. I wanted to find a way to hurt her ex, cuddle on the couch with her BFF & get drunk. Whilst Creighton was an ALPHA in his own right, Cav came into the book & brought in another layer of ALPHA. I know I shouldn't be as shocked as I was when this book ended in yet another cliffhanger, but damn I was... now I HAVE to read the next book so badly.

Does Geek Bear accept his mate???

Geek Bear (Bear Shifter Paranormal Romance) (Rescue Bears Book 6) - Scarlett Grove

I received an ARC of 'Geek Bear' from Scarlett Grove, in exchange for an honest review.

Shifters have had it hard since coming out in society, from losing their jobs, to being conscripted into the miliatary, it's only after they'd faught & proved something to humans have they since been more accepted. Geek Bear (Cody) has created a mating app for shifters, Mate.com & through a load of questions, you get paired with females best suited to you.

Geek Bear, also known as Corey is the mastermind behind Mate.com & strongly against finding a mate, but when his team create a profile on the app in the hopes of finding his mate for him. Willow can't find her zone in the current story she's writing, not when she keeps getting serial killer notes & the police can't do anything about it, having joined Mate.com for research she is surprised when she gets a notification. WOW that was a ride. 'Geek Bear' is book 6 in Scarlett's series "Rescue Bears"... I just wish there were more than just six in the team.

What is happening to Cole??

Temptation: Reckless Desires (Blue Moon Saloon Book 2) - Anna Lowe

I received an ARC of 'Temptation' from Anna Lowe, in exchange for an honest review.

After reading Simon & Jess's story in the previous books, I couldn't wait to read Jenna's story, not only to catch a glimpse of the much loved characters from Anna's "The Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch" series, but also the new. 'Temptation' is book 2 (read as book 3) of Anna Lowe's new series "Blue Moon Saloon", & is also a spin-off series of her "The Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch" series, I highly suggest you read the original series first before you read this new series, as you get more of an idea about who lives at Twin Moon Ranch.

In the weeks following the attack at the salloon by the rogue, after Cole rushes in to help save the girls, he's unknowingly to everyone scratched by a werewolf, he's so off kilter, having an inner voice wanting to make Jenna HIS.... Jenna has noticed slight changes in Cole since the attack, unsure who to tell, she takes it upon herself to help him.....

Oh my, I FLOVED Jenna & Cole's story, I loved how you get to learn more about Cole's background & the reason he's in the area. Anna weaved her magic with this addition to the series, I can't wait to read Soren's story... especially after the cliffhanger in this book.

Hetch has arrived!!

Hetch (Men OF S.W.A.T. Book 1) - River Savage

I've been trying to figure out what to write for my review for this AMAZING new book from River Savage. 'Hetch' is book 1 in River's brand new series "Men of S.W.A.T" & what a begining to the series is was. I loved EVERYTHING about this book, Hetch is a HOT as hell ALPHA male, leader of a SWAT team... Liberty is sweet, sassy & stands up for the kids who have no one. The tension between Hetch & Liberty is hot, sweet & funny at times to read. I was about 29% through the book where I was laughing so hard, tears falling down my face, the situation was freaking hilarious... but I think it helped ease you into what I was about to read next, the tears that fell next weren't from laughter. Oh I wont be going into details, but I will say that River weaved her magic throughout this story, bringing forth all the characters without loosing the story around Hetch & Liberty. I loved that you got to read from both POV's, helping to understand what both characters are feeling so much easier. I really can't wait to read the next books in this series.

Hot & steamy in Belize

Belize: Bad Boys on the Beach Book Two (Volume 2) - Kimberly Fox

I received an ARC of 'Belize' from the author, in exchange for an honest review.

I loved the first chapter, a quick look at Tanya & Ethan... the moment Ethan first met Tanya's parents, OH what a laugh that was. Once again this book was filled with laughs, tension, heart ache, jealousy... & you got most of them within the first chapter, but they were spread all throughout the book. Tanya & Ethan are getting married as one of the bridesmaids Cynthia is heading to Belize with everyone else, as the only single person at the wedding Cynthia finds herself bunked in with Tanya's aunt... OH WHAT AN AUNT. On the night of arriving Cynthia takes a walk on the beach when a man emerges out of the ocean, it's not until the bride forces her to do the dance that she finds out he's Ethan's Navy SEAL brother Chase.

I really enjoyed the banter between Cynthia & Chase, also loved it when a certian couple show up trying to ruin Ethan & Tanya's wedding, how Chase & Cynthia band together. There were some major funny moments in this book, oh the aunt, the situation between Ethan & Tanya's parents... everything coming together was just fun to read. 'Belize' is book 2 in Kimberly's series "Bad Boys on the Beach" & although you don't have to read the series in order, I highly advise you too, you HAVE to read how Ethan & Tanya first meet to really enjoy the side characters in this book.

Deliciously suspenseful read!

Dark Tremor (Mated by Magic Book 2) - Stella Marie Alden, Chantel Seabrook

I was gifted a complimenatary copy of 'Dark Tremor' from Chantel Seabrook, in exchange for an honest review.

'Dark Tremor' was my first read from either Stella Marie Alden & Chantel Seabrook, so I started reading the book unsure what I was in for... What an introduction to Stella & Chantel's books. 'Dark Tremor' is book 2 of Stella & Chantel's series "Mated by Magic", I haven't read book 1 yet but I was able to understand what was going to in this book... I have added book 1 to my TBR.

I enjoyed the suspense, action, paranormal... then the new idea for witches, all came together in a wonderful read. There was so much going on, keeping you needing to read just to find out what was going to happen next... making you read until the end just to get all the information that slowly leaks throughout the book. I NEED to read book 1, but also can't wait for the next book in the series.

Just what Gretchen needs

Rush for Love (Snow-Kissed Love Book 3) - Violet Vaughn

I was given a complimentary copy of 'Rush for Love' from Violet Vaughn, in exchange for an honest review.

I'm really enjoying this series by Violet, I couldn't wait to start reading 'Rush for Love'... especially when I found out this was Gretchen's book. Something about this character in the first 2 books made me NEED to read her story. Oh boy Grecthen was funny before, but she came forth, letting you understand her reluctance in finding love, her loyalty to her friends old & new. On her way home to Breckenridge she finds herself changing seats with Mr. Hunk & making a new friend who's just moved to the area. (That whole situation was crazy!) Getting into her car, he finds herself catching a runaway pup & meeting her travel mate & the hunk.

Oh boy, what electricty Gretchen & Mr. Hunk produce, finding them both to be commitement phobes & how their relationship progresses was a fun read. 'Rush for Love' is book 3 in Violet's latest series "Snow Kissed Love", I would love to read the next books in the series.

Wonderful read!

The Wolves of Craigellen: The Complete Highland Shifter Romance Trilogy - Ruby Fielding

I was able to read this trilogy as they where first published, but I loved re-reading all 3 books within this boxset, not having to wait to find out what happens at the end... LOVED this trilogy!

Last Alpha, bk 1....
'Last Alpha' is the first book I've read by Ruby Fielding, so I wasn't sure what to expect from her. What an intriguing mystery, I was drawn into the book, the descriptive details, the accents... all of it drew me in. I found the characters to be very detailed, some had stronger personalities than others, but you got a good indepth look at their beliefs, lives & dreams. The secrets slowly reveiled throughout this book left me always wondering what was going to happen & then disastor struck & it left me thinking the worst.... could it be this person?? But the ending, WOW what an ending, was a surprise, I had no inkling it was coming. Thank you Ruby for this mystery, filled with twists & turns all the way through.

Rogue Male, bk 2....
Upon starting this book, I was quickly thrust into the Scotish highlands & into the lives of some characters I remember from 'Last Alpha'. Set in the same small town, but meeting new characters, listening (well in my head) to that Scotish brogue.... I was drawn into the book, experiencing the akwardness of that first kiss, the wondering if a certain someone likes me... What turns out to be a weekend surprise visit to a friend, turns into a whirlwind of possible love, new friendships, learning a towns secrets, changes... I'm not going to spoil anything for you, so you'll just have to read it your self. I really loved this book!

Snow Wolf, bk 3....
I couldn't wait to start reading this book, I wanted to find out if Billy, Jenny, Iain & Skye find peace. Once again, I was quickly thrust into the Scotish highlands & into the lives of some characters I remember from 'Rogue Male' & 'Last Alpha'. Set in the same small town, we get to see how Iain & Jenny are slowly getting used to being shifters now, Billy is coaxing them in their training, Skye is still in college, but travelling to Iain whenever he has a particularly bad day. I was drawn into how their lives had changed since the pack became 3 & not just 2. I especially liked how you could read the struggle with balancing your human & your wolf. One moment your wolf wants to shift & the next, you feel like if you do...something bad may happen. Such a confusing time, when just recently there was only ever one. I really don't want to give anything of this storyline away.

I really loved what was going on in this story, & can't wait to read what comes next from Ruby Fielding.

Jared bumps into his mate

Jared: Mating Fever (Rocked by the Bear Book 5) - V. Vaughn

I was left wondering about what would happen to 'Jared' I'm so glad the series hasn't finished yet. Jared & his brother are trying to finish college, whilst the band is touring the country, on a run through the woods Jared is knocked to the ground just missing the bullet aimed at him. Courtney has always seen things just before they happen, so when she notices a glimpse of silver then has a vision, she takes action... 'Jared: Mating Fever' is book 5 in V. Vaughn's new series "Rocked by the Bear", I highly advise you to read this series in order. Loved this journey, Jared & Courtney have an interesting time together whilst they figure everything out, I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

A cupcake tasting changes everything

Fire Away: Somewhere, TX (Line of Fire Book 1) - Becca Boyd

I was given a copy of 'Fire Away' in exchange for an honest review.

As an avid "Somewhere, TX" fan, I jumped at the chance to read 'Fire Away' & see what Becca Boyd/R.L. Syme did for the small town of Somewhere, TX. I'd not previously read anything by the author, so I started with no idea of what to expect. It was too long into the story that I became riveted & needed to keep reading. 'Fire Away' is book 1 of Boyd/Syme's series "Line of Fire" a "Somewhere, TX" collection... so if you've read some of what the other authors have done in the series you may notice some pretty prominant characters in this book.

Hermit Aiden Conley has been talked into trying out cakes for his wedding, which means heading into the town of Somewhere, TX a place he has avoided for the last 10 years... except for when he's working. When he arrives at the bakery, he's not one step into the office when he see's a person he'd thought he'd never see again. Claire is after the perfect cupcake, a one of a kind, so when the bakery lets her know it's alright to sit in with a bride for a tasting, things are finally going Claire's way.... but when Aiden steps into the office things become tense. When the new fire cheif decides to open up cold cases, things are about to bring Aiden back into the lime light again.

OMG there is so much happening, & that's just in the first few chapters. So much history, pain, suspense. Oh the suspense, Aiden & Claire working together trying to figure out who the killer is, it had me guessing till the end, the clues might have been there but they where hidden so well. I would love to read the next book in this series, I might have found a new author to follow.

A Dragon's treasure

Dazzled: Reckless Desires - J.K. Harper

'Dazzled' was my first book by J.K. Harper, I have seen her name previously is boxsets & anthologies that I've read, but haven't actually read her work. Having read some of the other contributions the other authors have done for the "Reckless Desires" collection, I couldn't wait to read what J.K. had done. 'Dazzled' is book 1 in J.K. Harper's new series "Dragon Mates"... LOVED IT!!

Sebastian keeps his treasures well guarded, all the while he's slowly collecting the last of his families missing treasures or the curse will come true for him like it did for his parents. Working for Sebastian at his museum is a dream come true for Lacey, after a year of working for him, dreaming about him one kiss will start something big....

Oh my, I can't say much more, Sebastian is moody & fighting his dragon the entire time then more so after the first kiss... then get the 2 together, they are intense to read. I loved that you found out information throughout the book, keeping me riveted until the end to find out all the details. I would love to read the next book in the series.
